Amazon Fire TV and Fire Tablet Game Controller Guide

You’ll find a lot of information searching the web on what controllers you can use with your Amazon Fire devices.  I have attempted to sum things up here, and will provide more details and reviews of various devices as I’m able to buy them and test them.

3rd Party Devices

Several sites have dug into the the Amazon Fire TV software on rooted devices to get a list of devices that have custom key map support on the Fire TV platform.  Interestingly, having this support is NOT a guarantee that the device will work on the Fire TV platform without significant work, including rooting the device.  Please make sure a device is actually compatible before ordering.  Being on the list below doesn’t mean it’s been verified as compatible.  I am working on various devices on researching compatibility and updating the list as I go.
