Wayward Souls is an action RPG “rogue-like” game with procedurally generated levels and permadeath. Unfortunately, the Amazon version isn’t tagged as compatible with the Fire TV platform. I am trying to get that corrected.
Originally developed for the Xbox 360, Doom & Destiny is a satirical JRPG that plays well on Amazon’s Fire TV platform.
Evoland isn’t available in Amazon’s app store, but plays well on the Fire TV. It’s a unique (I believe) kind of retro-ish game that plays on concepts from Zelda games and JRPG games. The unique “gimmick” is that the game starts out black and white, no sound, and leads you through unlocking various “capabilities” of the games as you progress.
The next major update to RetroArch, version 1.4.1, has moved to “Open Beta” status and is now the new stable branch. You can read the announcement here, but a summary: Improved Netplay.
